Writer Kryptonite

Superman was my favorite boyhood superhero. He was pretty much invincible…except for one weakness.

Kryptonite.

This glowing green substance wasn’t man-made or created from an evil villain. Kryptonite is actually rock fragments that originated when Superman’s home world—Krypton—exploded.

It’s always fascinated me, in an ironically poetic way, that the biggest threat to the strongest man in the universe was a fractured piece from his past.

As writers, we face a different sort of Kryptonite. Yet the source for us is equally close to home.

Discover how to avoid Writer Kryptonite is this video interview  I had with New York Times best-selling author Jerry Jenkins. Featured as part of his Master Class series, it’s a fast-paced Q&A session where I reveal how to co-create stories with God, use chaos as your canvas, upgrade any manuscript proposal, and yes…overcome Writer Kryptonite. Doing so might not make your ideas invincible…but it will help your creativity fly higher!
