The Rise of the Artificial - Part 1
Every aspect of our lives is being invaded by the artificial. Yet we miss what’s at stake if we assume it's inevitable, neutral, or simply limited to AI. In the first half of this Wild at Heart podcast series, John and Allen reveal how the artificial actually has roots that go all the way back to Eden when the serpent seduced Adam and Eve with a counterfeit narrative. These ancient roots entangle us in more ways than we realize. The more we embrace the artificial, the more we find ourselves in a "Partificial Daze"—a haze of anxiety, exhaustion, and addiction that numbs us to what matters most. Allen's new book, Risk the Real: How to Defy the Rise of the Artificial, offers a reality reorientation. Because there is only one antidote to the artificial—a wholehearted pursuit of the real where we embrace God as the Creator of reality and align with his intentions for us.

How to Risk the Real - Part 2
In this second half of this Wild at Heart podcast series, John and Allen dive even deeper into the clash between the real and the artificial, explaining how it is intensifying and why no one can remain neutral in this world of competing realities. They offer practical ways to navigate the chaos and choices before us by sharing the Five Tenets of the Real and Five Lies of the Artificial from Allen's new book, Risk the Real: How to Defy the Rise of the Artificial. In The Matrix, Morpheus states, "There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path." That's even more true here. Our goal isn't just greater awareness—but to actively step into the story God has created us for at this moment in time. Only then can we risk well for what matters most as we defy the artificial and pursue the real.
THE EDEN OPTION
The world is unraveling but that doesn't have to be our reality. John Eldredge and Allen discuss Allen's new book, The Eden Option, and how we can choose a Story 1 life in this Story 2 world.

In these two Wild at Heart podcasts, John Eldredge (New York Times best-selling author of Wild at Heart) interviews Allen about the wild process of co-creating with God and his book, The Story of With.
CREATIVITY & STORY
John and Allen discuss how to pursue gifting from an awakened heart.
We get so busy doing things for God that we can miss life with God. In the second half of this series, John and Allen reveal how our creativity and dreams can lead to deeper intimacy with God.
In this badly shaken world, John and Allen offer a defiant, hopeful message: chaos can't win. Discover how God overcomes the chaos around and within us—replacing it with beauty, life, and order.
God gives you a choice. Do you want to spend your days in Story 1 or Story 2? Unfortunately, most choose Story 1—small stories of low risk, high control and quick answers where comfort is valued more than what God's up to. You wouldn't watch a Story 1 movie but often end up living it. And Sons podcast producer Allen Arnold joins Sam and Blaine to share his desire to stay in Story 2—a costly place of wonder, mystery, risk, adventure, and intimacy...with no guarantees other than God. Choosing that path gave him his voice back in more ways than one. And he's using it to invite others into a life of Story 2.

"Allen was instrumental in helping me not only write my book...but actually START it. And as a first time author, he was there every step of the way. His creative partnership made the solitude journey of writing not feel so lonely. I am grateful for his unique ability to hear what I was trying to say and then help get it so invitingly on paper. I found myself often sighing in deep satisfaction that my written words finally matched all the ideas and creative thoughts swirling around inside of me."
