This Five or That Five?

Here are five big lies the enemy will use to try and drain your creativity and numb your heart:

  1. It’s all up to you. God isn't there to help.

  2. Time is short. You're behind. Hurry!

  3. Do more or you'll lose the race.

  4. Find a formula that works and crank out more sameness.

  5. Define your identity by external, ever-changing metrics.

None are true. It’s good to shine light on those lies so they lose their power.

Even better, replace them with these five ways to fill your creativity and heart with life:

  1. Fear less; Love more.

  2. Remember, you're not in control and it's not about you.

  3. Lose expectations and stay expectant for what God's up to.

  4. Be fully present to those around you.

  5. Rather than downgrade hopes, dream bigger dreams—with God.

Which list most describes your day? If you want different results, focus on the five that bring life.
