The Right Way to See Everything
The right way to see everything is through God’s interpretation of it.
As Creator, he not only has that right, he is the only one who has the history and the knowledge of what is real and true about his creation. Because he was there. Not as a bystander or observer, but as the One making everything. And it runs according to his will. It bows to him. It echoes his breath. We get to live in this world of his. But we can’t remake it in our image. Any view that opposes his has its roots all the way back to the serpent’s lies in Eden. And should never be celebrated or accepted. Ever. That is why we have to defy the unreal.
The challenge before us is how to pursue reality as God defines it in a world that defies it. We can either align with his reality or we can revolt against it. Either way, we can’t remake reality. We didn’t exist before anything was created. Nor was everything created through us or for us. We can’t guarantee the next hour will go as we hope, much less hold all of creation together.
Any serious search for the real begins with God. Which is why the next five readings will focus on the Five Tenets of Real.
