Secrets of What’s Yet to Come
God’s offer to grant wisdom beyond our own understanding appears to be based on our desire to pursue life with him.
Here’s how Scripture describes the process: Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own. (Jeremiah 33:3 MSG)
When we call out to God, he answers. That alone is astonishing.
But it gets even better. Did you catch what comes after that? God will then reveal “unsearchable things” (NIV) and “remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” (NLT).
The invitation is to have our minds blown. To learn great and mighty things we do not know. To experience marvelous and wonderful insights we could never figure out on our own. To discover remarkable secrets of things yet to come.
Imagine how those things would enhance every aspect of your life.
But there’s a condition. It’s promised only if we include God in the process. No matter how wise or creative we may be, we’ll never attain these kinds of insights on our own. They’re only available through—and with—God.
