Hidden Since the World’s First Day
When the Creator of stars, stallions, and sunsets offers to reveal marvelous, great, unsearchable, and remarkable things to us (see Jeremiah 33:3), this generosity should set our hearts racing. Our human limits no longer matter. The previously impossible is more than possible with God.
For with God nothing will be impossible. (Luke 1:37 NKJV)
Jesus also reminds us that as we pursue life with him, he will reveal things that he has set in motion for us but tucked away since creation. Why? They are waiting until we are ready to discover them. Until we can be trusted with them.
I will bring out into the open things hidden since the world’s first day. (Matthew 13:35 MSG).
Does that comment make you curious? It should, because Jesus was referencing why he told parables when he shared that with his disciples. His stories, in essence, helped people see aspects of God’s goodness, power, and love that had been hidden since the time of Eden.
Have you ever seen your creativity in that way? If so, what might it help people see that’s been hidden since the world’s first days? The only way to know is to pursue it with God…and stay expectant!
