Pressure to Prove Yourself

In the choices you face, remember this: You don't need to prove yourself to others.  

Chasing external success or validation will ultimately leave you empty. The world's applause comes and goes but it is never enough to satisfy the soul. Never. 

Instead, choose to pursue something far more nourishing for your heart and your art. Find what draws you closer to God and chase those big questions and ideas with him. 

The goal isn't to be first or go fast. It’s to be fully present for the journey you’re on so that you arrive more fully you.
