Experts Agree

So many headlines and social media stories begin with: "Experts agree that ..."  

Rarely do they say who the experts are or how they reached that conclusion. Just that they are the experts and you aren't. So don’t ask questions. Just go with it.  

A truer headline would be: "Those who've invested a lifetime committed to a certain way of seeing life still agree with their way of thinking." 

Human wisdom, minus God, is actually foolishness: For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. (1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV) 

Just because everyone says something is right doesn’t make it so: In those days Israel had no king; All the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes. (Judges 21:25 NLT) 

It’s essential to see the world as God does rather than through the eyes of popular, or even expert, opinion.
