Never Completely Ready

Being called by God to create and feeling ready to create are two totally different things.

You will never feel—nor be—completely ready.  

No human has ever entered into any arena of gifting or testing with 100% certainty of the outcome. Not unless they’re playing it safe on a playground they’ve long outgrown. 

So what are you to do when we feel doubt or want to quit?  

Remember it isn’t all up to you. It never was…not even when things seemed easy. 

God didn’t call you because you were completely ready. But so you could enter into the journey with him. To become more fully you.  

So take a deep breath. Release the lie that everything depends on you. 

Welcome God back into the project at hand. Create space for the Creator to be an active part of your creative process. Then follow his lead.
