Auto-Pilot Assumptions

Some get an adrenaline rush from risk-taking while others run at the first sign of risk. Regardless of what we think of risk, it’s an unavoidable part of our lives.

Though we don’t tend to give it much thought, humans risk in big and small ways every day.

We fully trust the pilot we’ve never met to get our plane to its destination. We completely trust an anonymous chef who prepared our food to do so safely. We trust our body to continue breathing once we go to sleep. We prefer not to even think about these issues, because doing so just creates worry or anxiety.

But anything worth doing or having or sacrificing for requires risk. The question is what future do you want—and how will you risk for it with God? We’ll be exploring that topic in depth in future readings.

In closing, I’d like to take a risk and ask for your help in keeping these readings flowing and free for everyone. Will you consider making a financial donation today for this crowd-funded kingdom initiative HERE. For all who can, I’m grateful. It matters more than you imagine.
