Woven Into the Fabric of Creation
We’ve spent the last two months looking at the clash between the real and the artificial. The question now is what part will we play in this unfolding cosmic drama? The answer, in large part, depends on how we view risk.
That’s what we’ll be exploring during the month of August. It’s important to begin here because risk is woven into the very fabric of creation. God created risk. Vulnerability and choice seem to be normal operating procedure in Eden. Yet Adam and Eve took the greatest gamble in history by risking everything on the wrong tree. They doubted God’s character, trusted the enemy’s counterfeit narrative, and lost it all. They were risk-takers but risked poorly.
Hopefully we’ve learned from that tragedy. Because we all take a chance on something. No matter what the late-night infomercials promise, nothing in this world is risk-free. The only guarantee on the front end is whether you will risk with God...or without God.
So get ready for a deep dive this month into a massive topic that impacts the decisions we make each day but, strangely, that we don’t give much thought to. Once you do, it will transform your choices by helping you risk well for what matters most.
In closing, I’d like to take a risk and ask for your help in keeping these readings flowing and free for everyone. Will you consider making a financial donation today for this crowd-funded kingdom initiative HERE. For all who can, I’m grateful. It matters more than you imagine.
