Your Next Graduation

My youngest son graduates high school today. There’s a lot to celebrate in his story. I’m so proud of him.

I got to see what others didn’t. The countless ways he overcame immense challenges with such heart. I’m looking forward to the school ceremony, but it was the private moments of success, failure, believing and pushing through that I’ll never forget…and that made the public victory possible.

Graduations aren’t limited to high school and college ceremonies.

We’re all students of someone or something. We learn and grow by staying curious, humble, and pushing through against great odds…regardless of our age or stage of life.

What are you currently a student of—and when will you graduate? There will always be more to learn, but there needs to be predefined moments of victory along the way. Otherwise, you’ll just keep going in circles without going anywhere new.

So when is your next graduation? It’s good to know where you are on that path. And to stay a student as you stay with God.
