Who Would You Be?

Who would you be if the world didn’t tell you who you are?

What we’ve done never limits who we can become. Good mechanics don't define a car by its current state. They test what's broken to restore it.

Likewise, personality tests don't define us but reveal our current state and how we try to make life work. Ask God who he made you to be. The right identity is always God-given, not test-driven.

Identity never hinges in what you do. It is unconditionally based on who you are. Your primary identity is a son or daughter of God. The world didn’t give you that identity–which means it can’t take it from you. The world doesn't have the right to re-name, redefine, or limit you. Unlike a name or title the world gives, your primary identity can never be lost, stolen, or downgraded.

So let me ask you again, who would you be if the world didn’t tell you who you are? It’s important to know, because your creative best comes from your truest self.
