Who Helped You Get Here?

None of us are where we are today solely because of our own strength, determination, or brilliance. In fact, we’re likely here in spite of all those things.

Today, take a moment from focusing on your current project to look back and remember others who’ve played a significant role in your journey.  

Perhaps it was a parent, teacher, or coach who expressed early belief in your creative gifting. Or maybe a friend or spouse who has continually cheered you on all those times you were ready to give up. And don’t forget the artist you never met whose work helped you see yourself and the world in new ways. God loves working through others to nurture the dreams he first placed within you. 

It’s a good day to express gratitude to as many of them as possible. 

It’s also a good day to be that person for someone through your unique presence and gifting.
