Message in a Bottle

Sometimes these daily readings feel like notes I write and place into ancient green bottles. I then toss each into the sea and watch the current carry them away.

I trust that God will get each one to its destination. With hopes that the right words arrive at just the right time. For you.

But as I tossed today’s reading into the sea, I decided to try an experiment. Because, you know, it gets boring standing on the shore waiting for return bottles.
