Filling the Empty Chaos

God opposes chaos. Not some of the time. But every time it tries to strike.

The void continuously tries to overcome us. But in every clash, God overcomes it.

Listen to how the prophet Isaiah puts it: For the Lord is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the Lord,” he says, “and there is no other.” (45:18 NIV)

Cling to that truth. Write it on your bathroom mirror. Proclaim it daily. God created the heavens and the earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in—not a place of empty chaos. And we get to join him in this mission. How? By filling the empty chaos around us with our God-given creativity.
