Escape Unreality

Most stories offer a way to unplug or escape from reality. The better stories rip a seam in the atmosphere, make the unseen visible, and usher us into a deeper reality.

We underestimate stories when we see them as just a way to teach a lesson. Or to offer a momentary escape from reality. The better ones do the exact opposite. They help us escape from unreality, while seeing God, ourselves, and our story with greater clarity and wonder.
