Don’t Give Up, Just Look Up

I want to give you some timely encouragement for what you’re facing at this very moment.

God sees you and he’s for you in the midst of your current battle against chaos.

Check out the psalmist’s words about God’s determination to save us from the chaos and love us through our trials:

But me he caught—reached all the way from sky to sea; he pulled me out of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos, the void in which I was drowning. They hit me when I was down, but God stuck by me. He stood me up on a wide-open field; I stood there saved—surprised to be loved! (Psalm 18:16–19 MSG)

Rather than give up, we simply have to look up. God is reaching from sky to sea to rescue us. He will rescue you from the chaos storm you face.

It is possible to remain unshaken in a world of chaos. Not because the chaos goes away (it won’t) but because God is unshakable and is always with us. So no matter how much this world unravels, we remain unraveled. Not due to our great courage or strength, but because God is right beside us.

I see that the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. (Acts 2:25 NLT)
