ABC’s of Creativity: Chaos 101

Throughout May, I’ll be sharing three ideas per reading on a specific aspect of our creativity. I call it the ABC’s of Creativity because I focus on topics that begin with an A, B, or C. If this leaves you hungry for more, my book Waves of Creativity provides an “A to Z” gathering of ideas on creating with God.

Three initial thoughts on Chaos…

1
Chaos is a destructive, fear-based force that prevents you from fully living. The ways it comes against you —large and small—are often intensely personal strikes meant to leave you empty.

2
Chaos is primal, but it isn’t eternal; it didn’t always exist. Chaos didn’t get the first word nor does it get the last. Only God does. When chaos and the Creator come face to face, chaos blinks every time.

3
Chaos tries to make us forget who we are... and become more like it. The Creator reminds us who we are... so we can become more like him.
