An artist is called to be more, not simply do more.

The creative process actually doesn’t begin with doing. There is a deeper foundation. The first step is simply being. What you create from that place is always original, because it is more about who you are becoming than what you are producing.

Esse Quam Videri is Latin for “to be, rather than to appear.” You’ll be amazed at the difference when you choose to be present, be real, be vulnerable, and be true rather than merely appearing to be so.
