What You Can’t Not Create

The question is never what can you create. You can make a lot of things. But just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

The far better question is: What can you not not create?

Yes, the sentence has a double negative. Even so, that’s the invitation. To focus on what you can’t quit thinking about, find the enticing idea that won’t let you go, and dive into what God’s created you to create.

But heads-up. This kind of passion project will require more than you imagine on the front end. They always do. It will bring you to your limit and stretch you beyond what you think possible. And that’s as it should be. God doesn’t call us to what we can do in our own strength…without him.

So back to the original question. What can you not not create? Now pursue that…with God.
